]]> http://www.brendalandrum.net/blog/2010/06/christin-slideshow-fort-collins-maternity-photographer/feed/ 0 Christin | Fort Collins Maternity Photographer http://www.brendalandrum.net/blog/2010/06/christin_fort_collins_photographer/ http://www.brendalandrum.net/blog/2010/06/christin_fort_collins_photographer/#comments Mon, 21 Jun 2010 19:25:45 +0000 Brenda http://www.brendalandrum.net/blog/?p=3628 Where do I even begin with this post??  Jeremy, Christin, and Kros hold a dear place in my heart and they really don’t even know it.  Way way way back when I was in my first photography career I photographed Jeremy and Christin’s engagement photos and their wedding.  To this day their wedding images are some of my faves from that part of my career.  Later on they asked me to photograph Kros as a newborn and I believe he was my first newborn I had ever photographed.  That session is one that all of us will never forget!!  When Christin contacted me to do her maternity session plus their family I was over joyed!  I could not wait to photograph them all again.

This family is GAWH-geous as you will see very soon unless you are peeking right now.  I know you are!  They made it unbelievably easy for me to photograph them and Christin use to be a Colorado Ice Cheerleader so she knew exactly how to pose.  I had such a great time with them that I made them (and myself) suffer through swarms of mosquitoes and layers and layers of bug repellent for two hours.  I know, cruel.  It was beyond worth it and if I could have sunlight like we had that night at every session I would be in absolute bliss.

Thank you a million times over for asking me to photograph this moment in your lives and I can not wait to meet this new little guy soon!

So a couple of days ago we ventured down the road and spent the afternoon with them.  I wish we would of had someone filming us because the chaos was hilarious!  With my 5yo, Ava who is 15 mths old, a puppy, and then the two of us I am sure we were quite the show.  My daughter had her hands full for a little bit while holding onto the puppy wanting to go one way and holding Ava’s hand who wanted to go another way.  It was so much fun though and the girls had a great time playing together.  Plus we got some really cute photos and were able to capture this moment in time for my sis-in-law and her family.

Thanks sis for letting me photograph you again!!

So I secretly (not so secret now!)  want to take Holly home with me.  She is the calmest little pup and adorable to boot.  Told my husband and he gave me ‘the look’.  Ya, we are not really pet people but I am guessing that someday we will have to break down and do it.  Our little one has already started asking.  And I don’t think my sis or brother-in-law will part with little Holly.  Ha!!

Tiffany, you are so beautiful and such an amazing mom of almost 4!  I respect you more then I could say in words.

While we were back in Nebraska for Thanksgiving we decided to do her maternity session in our home town of Bayard.  I LOVE shooting there!!!  Why I didn’t see these amazing locations while I lived there, I’ll never know.  It was a bit cold and breezy the day after Thanksgiving but Steph was such a trooper and out we went.  We kept the car running with the heat on and would jump out and do our shots and then hop back in to get warm and toasty.  I had a great time shooting these and I have so many favorites!

Steph, you did amazing as always and you are absolutely beautiful!  Your sweet baby is so blessed to have a Mommy like you.  We can’t wait for her to arrive in January!!!  Hey Ralph!!!  What ya think???
