So if you were here yesterday you saw Steve Katie and Aaron’s images (didn’t they do a great job?) and now it is time for just Steve and Katie. They are having a fall wedding in Nebraska in October which I can not wait to photograph! I have even seen some flowers that they are going to have and the colors are so gorgeous! I am giddy with excitement for October!!
I was really hoping that we would have a beautiful evening for their session but as always it seems like mother nature likes to throw a curve ball my way. We even had a full on dirt storm about two hours prior which had me worried. Although the wind was a bit of a pain the light was gorgeous and then we found this little covered outdoor area by the river and I was in heaven!
Steve and Katie, thank you from the bottom of my heart for asking me to not only photograph the two of you celebrating this exciting time in your lives but of a new family. I hope you love these images as much as I do and I can not wait to see you guys again in October!!
I just loved Katie’s dress!!

I ** LOVE ** this image!! The light nearly made me cry!

Oh my how I love this image!

The Scottsbluff National Momument and the Platte River behind them. Gorgeous scene!

Love love love!!!

Glowing…..Katie is just glowing! You are so beautiful!! My favorite image of Katie!

Steve has an AWESOME car so we just had to include it.

And to end the session sitting on the bench and admiring the view.

I have two emotions when I think about this session with Lauren and Jesse. First is the excitement to show you their beautiful images and second is the sadness that this is my last scheduled engagement session. I have really enjoyed the engagement sessions this year and wish there were more to do. My wedding clients this year are so fabulous and I can not wait for their weddings this summer!!!
Now back to Lauren and Jesse….WOW! I loved the location Lauren wanted to go, the CSU Flower Garden and the Old Fort Collins High School because it offers so many great backdrops. They both of course brought their A game and really knocked their images out of the park. We had wonderful weather, even a bit hot for 9:30am, and there were hardly any people around. I wish I was better at writing (maybe I should take lessons from Jasmine Star) to describe how much I love what I do and the clients that ask me to document their most memorable moments in their lives.
Lauren and Jesse, thank you! Thank you for asking me to document so many of those moments!
Be sure to check back tomorrow to see Lauren and Jesse’s adorable son, Jackson!
Here are a few of my favorite images!

They are so cute!

I really love this image! I am always drawn to images that have emotion and this one just makes me feel *love*.

Va Va Voom!

This tunnel is my favorite location! So much fun!
