What a wonderful weekend we had in Nebraska!!  The weather was so nice and I got to photograph the family of someone who has been a ‘neighbor’ of my family for years.  The Stricker’s farm shares a property line with my parents farm and these two little cuties dad graduated in my same high school class.  Many a time throughout the years have I seen him in his tracker tending to his field…..still do!  It was wonderful to get to meet his two little kiddo’s who I must say gave me quite the run for my money (no pun intended!).  Ha!!

Thank you guys for all the hard work and help, your family did AWESOME!!

I just returned to Colorado from a wonderful weekend in Nebraska and part of why I went was to photograph The Stricker Family!

While I was in Nebraska for an extended stay I also had the chance to photograph the Lohr Family.  Andrea and I went to the same high school and it was wonderful to get to meet her beautiful family.  These two girls are so adorable and just wait until you see how amazing they did during their session.  I convinced them to drive down to Bayard, Nebraska for their session and I am really glad that they agreed because it was a perfect backdrop for their family images!

Today is a first for me.  I am not posting any black and white images in my faves!!  What?!?  I *love* black and white images and when I shoot I am constantly thinking about how it will look in black and white.  For some reason I love the color images so much more in this session.  Don’t get me wrong, the black and whites look great and I did post a black and white for the coming soon teaser but the color is just speaking to me today.  Ha!

Thank you again and again for asking me to document your family!!  I really enjoyed our time together and I hope you LOVE your images!
