]]> http://www.brendalandrum.net/blog/2012/01/washing-away-2011/feed/ 0 A Colorado Sunrise http://www.brendalandrum.net/blog/2012/01/a-colorado-sunrise/ http://www.brendalandrum.net/blog/2012/01/a-colorado-sunrise/#comments Thu, 05 Jan 2012 21:42:42 +0000 Brenda http://www.brendalandrum.net/blog/?p=6988 Hello again!  I have been neglecting pretty much anything and everything online for the last few weeks.  I’m happy to tell you that we did finally get into our new home just 2 days before Christmas, was still moving on Christmas Eve and unloading trucks Christmas Day.  It was the most stressful and difficult move we have ever experienced.  My husband and I have told everyone that we will not be moving out of this house…EVER!  We will be buried in the backyard.  I kid…..well maybe.  :)

One thing that I love about our new home is that we have the most beautiful views.  I did not realize that being just a bit further away from the mountains would provide better views of them.  We can see Twin Peaks from the master bedroom through the tops of the other homes and right now the view to the east is all fields and vacant land which has the most gorgeous sunrises I have ever seen here!  I’m either usually not up yet when the sun rises or I’m too busy getting ready for the day that I don’t take the time to even check them out.  Here I have made it a point to enjoy them while I can and be thankful to enjoy God’s painted sky.
