The website received a major renovation today! Now when you browse to brendalandrum.com you are greeted with a new splash page with several sites you can explore. Instead of having all content on one site, portraits and weddings now have their own site. As always I would love to have any feedback you might have for me!!!

Finally I am blogging about something! I have been so busy with putting orders together and dealing with sick people (including myself) in my home that I just have not had time to sit down and really work. Today though I finally got a chance to concentrate and I did it, I finally got the new website done! I am so excited!!! I had a million sketches in my book and I knew how I wanted it to look to go with all the changes that I made recently. I am really happy with how it has turned out today and I would love for you to go on over there and take a look. Please post your thoughts in the comments section of this post so I know what you, my loyal blog readers, think! Don’t be shy!
I do have one question for you. If you were at the previous site then you heard the lovely music on there. I am really torn if I should or shouldn’t have music on the website. I took it off but if you think it is better with please let me know. I want to know what YOUR experience is while viewing.

This week has been interesting to say the least. It got off to a rough start when we found out that my husband’s grandmother is not doing well and that put us into a worried, what do we do mode. They live a 2 days drive away so not being there has been hard, we wait all day everyday to hear what has happened recently. We are still in that mode. It has also brought up a lot of emotions from my experience with my Grandfather’s passing in 2006. It has been a very emotional week for me.
What does a girl do when she is emotional? Bury herself into a huge project all week long. That’s what I did! Have you noticed some changes that have happened around here lately? I came across a huge inspiration that launched me into an almost 100% make over of my business. This is no easy thing and when you are a one-woman show with a 4 year old daughter you can imagine the challenge of it all. A lot has changed and I really do think it is for the better. The logo changed a bit, business cards are changing, information cards look different, ect. Just browse around the website and you will see those changes, all cosmetic but I think it reflects a more ‘grown-up’ me and business. You decide for yourself and send me your feedback! I am all for feedback and truly do want to know what my client’s and visitor’s think.
This is just a sample of part of the changes that I have made. (the image above) These are the new note cards! I also created a new Product Menu that I will debut here soon so stay tuned!
I also added a couple Session options!!! There are now three session’s to choose from; digital session, baby’s first year, and classic. The classic session is the exact same as I have been offering, no price changes. The ‘baby’s first year’ session includes 3 sessions that take place within the first year of a child’s life, when they change the most drastically! Newborn Session, 6 mth Session, and a One Year Session! The ‘digital session’ is just like the ‘classic’ but also includes the digital files. You can view all the details on the INVESTMENT page!
