If you have an iPhone have you heard of Instagram? Oh man this is my FAVORITE photography app right now! I noticed that some of my favorite photographers were using this app so I decided to check it out and now I’m checking it like I check my Twitter and Facebook! It is a photography app that allows you to take a photo but in a square format (or you can import a photo from your Photo Albums) and then apply any one of their filters they provide to get it just how you want it to look. Then you post your photo online to their share site (in app only) and can also share via url to your Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, and 3 other sharing sites.
The fun part is that just like Twitter, you can follow other photographer’s work that use the same app. I have discovered amazing photographer’s taking gorgeous images with their iPhones!! No joke! There is this one photographer who lives in Asia somewhere I believe that goes by Komeda. He uses scale brilliantly and each time I see an image of his show up in my Instagram photo stream I get all excited. It’s so inspiring!!
