The Kelly Moore B-Hobo Bag | Review

Today I wanted to share my thoughts on the Kelly Moore B-Hobo camera bag.  I have been looking for a bag like this for a long time, a bag that was stylish and could also hold my camera.  There are a million different camera bags out there but to carry most of them while at the park or traveling is never fun.  They are usually cumbersome, heavy, and obvious.  A couple of years ago I snagged the Shootsac when it came out and I love that bag.  It is perfect to hold what you need on you while shooting a session or wedding and not have to lug around a big bag that you have to pick up and put down all the time.  The B-Hobo in my opinion is not a replacement for my Shootsac, it is more for personal photography outings. It is not easy to get in and out of and therefore I do not believe it works well for fast paced shoots.

So far I have used my B-Hobo to travel and to also carry my camera with me while out with my daughter or with family.  It allows me to have my camera without everyone around me knowing I have it.  It has become my purse and camera bag which is perfect for me!  I do not carry it everyday but when I know I want to have my camera with me I use it.  I wish I would of had it when we went to Oregon for that would of been the perfect test for this bag.

It is very well constructed with tons of padding, this does make it a bit more heavy.  I have tried to load everything I carry in my Shootsac into the B-Hobo and it is just entirely too heavy.  It comes with 2 velcro dividers for the inside, I wish there were more options for attaching those dividers for different sized items.  Tons of pockets for your keys, cell phone, lip gloss, CF cards, and camera batteries.  It also comes with 2 different sized shoulder straps, a short one to carry under your arm or a long one for carrying across your body which is what I do most often.

I really love this bag and it serves exactly what I wanted it to.  I can not say that I would recommend this bag to use during shoots or weddings.  I DO however recommend this bag for us women photographers who love to carry our camera’s with us where ever we go but do not want to be obvious about it.

I was not home when my bag arrived and my dear husband took it all out of the box and threw it away before I got home so I do not have any photos of how it arrived on my door step but what I found I was very impressed with.

Made me feel like I just received a Coach bag.  The bag itself is inside this wonderful protecting sack.

This is how it looked when I took it out of the sack and I was in love.  You can see the short shoulder strap attached.

The inside is a gorgeous purple and is a wonderful silky fabric.
