I love this family!! The Capes family has been so wonderful that I do not know how to express my gratitude. We had their session scheduled two weeks ago during the weekend of when family was all going to be in town for the littlest one’s first birthday party. That morning to my own surprise I was sick and even though I was wishing it would go away it just got worse and worse as the morning went on. We scheduled it for the following day hoping that I would be able to function but it wasn’t long before I knew that there was no way I was going to be able to do it. I. FELT. TERRIBLE. I have never canceled a session before and here was the one that I could not get another chance. The family all left a day later and that was the end of it.
The Capes family has been so nice about everything, even though I am sure they were disappointed they were so gracious. Even though we did not have the entire family there with us during our session this last weekend they were all so excited about being there with me, healthy and ready to go! The two little girls are beyond adorable and I can not wait for you to see how amazing they did. We ran from one tree stump to another. At each bridge we had to ask the Grumpy Old Troll (any Dora fans out there?!) for permission to cross. Just adorable! The littlest one is just learning to walk and getting her balance and I love to document those stages. Just look at how much these little girls have grown since I last photographed them in November!
So thank you for being so wonderful and I hope you love these images as much as I do!
Cute cute cute! Just look at that cute little face!!

I really love this image. I can’t help but want to know more about what she is thinking. It just exudes emotion to me.

Isn’t she just adorable!!

Grandma was able to join us so we captured her with her grandchildren. She’s so happy to be with Grandma!!

Are they not the cutest family! I love all the color, makes it so happy!!

ADORABLE! I can not come up with enough adjectives for these girls!

Walking with Grandma.

Another image that is so striking to me. It’s intense yet calm all at the same time. There is a story here….

Brenda - Laura, that is so cute that Lily wanted to know why I wasn’t in the photos. :) It was my pleasure to photograph your beautiful family!!
Laura Capes - Thank you so much for the beautiful pictures! You made it so easy for us. It felt like we were just taking a hike as a family. The girls had a great time. Though Lily wanted to know where Brenda was in the pictures. Thanks again, these are pictures we will treasure forever.
