Stephanie & Ava | Longmont Family & Maternity Photographer

A week ago I started getting really antsy to photograph someone, anyone!  I of course tried to do a little bit with my daughter but she’s so tired of seeing the camera pointed her way that she basically gives me a silly look and then off she goes.  So my next target was my sis-in-law who is due with her second child in about a month.  I gave her a good story about how she should have pics taken of her pregnant and with her little girl Ava and on and on and on.  Ya, I worked it big time to convince her to let me photograph them.  Ha!!  I was very very happy when she said YES!

So a couple of days ago we ventured down the road and spent the afternoon with them.  I wish we would of had someone filming us because the chaos was hilarious!  With my 5yo, Ava who is 15 mths old, a puppy, and then the two of us I am sure we were quite the show.  My daughter had her hands full for a little bit while holding onto the puppy wanting to go one way and holding Ava’s hand who wanted to go another way.  It was so much fun though and the girls had a great time playing together.  Plus we got some really cute photos and were able to capture this moment in time for my sis-in-law and her family.

This is a FAVE of mine!

So I secretly (not so secret now!)  want to take Holly home with me.  She is the calmest little pup and adorable to boot.  Told my husband and he gave me ‘the look’.  Ya, we are not really pet people but I am guessing that someday we will have to break down and do it.  Our little one has already started asking.  And I don’t think my sis or brother-in-law will part with little Holly.  Ha!!
