I am someone who must write my thoughts down. These thoughts can compose of many different things. From this weeks priority list of to-do’s, business ideas, what to manage in my business, things to do for my daughter, and of course lately my Christmas list. I use to keep just a plain collage ruled notebook around to write these things down until I came across this post on Fred Egan’s blog. Instantly I knew that if I would have a nice book/journal to keep my ideas in that it would be more inspiring. I started that book in June 2008 and two weeks ago I wrote my last list on the last page. I was a little sad to let this journal go and have sat and read through the entire thing a couple of times. It has been wonderful to see how far I have come. At the start of 2009 I wrote a goals list, just because, and now to read back and see that I have reached and surpassed those goals!!! Well I can not describe in words.
This is my new journal and although it was started the very very end of 2009 I have saved the very first page for my 2010 goals list. I have not written it yet but I already know what I want to scribble down on that page. The next little fun thing is that I have a new writing utensil for my new creative/idea/to-do’s journal. Do you see what it says??? That’s right! My very own business logo pen!!! It will make my to-do’s seem so much more important in 2010!
