This session has been planned since April and I was really excited to finally meet this family last weekend! I have been staying in touch with Cassie to see how her pregnancy was going and as her due date got closer asking if little Rylee had arrived yet. I was excited to hear when she arrived and that she was going to be 3 weeks old at her session…perfect! I love shooting newborns between 2-3 weeks!!! Cassie told me that Rylee was just beautiful and she is most definitely a little angel. Our session got off to a rough start with a very unhappy Rylee and I know mom was panicking because every minute that passed by was getting closer to when they needed to leave for rehearsal for the wedding the next day. Then Dad came to the rescue and Rylee calmed down and went right to sleep…Daddy’s girl! Rylee did great during her session, each and every time I moved this arm that way and that leg this way.
Cassie and Chris, thank you for inviting me into your home and asking me to photograph this precious little girl of yours. It is to bad that we live far apart because I really hope to see her grow and grow. Rylee is adorable and I hope that I have captured this moment just the way you dreamed.

I really worked at getting her arms just right and the pillow under her adjusted so she could hold her head up. I *love* it!

When I saw this image I got the giggles! I had just wrapped her up and looking so cute, put the camera to my eye and she started to bust right out.
