Last week my parents were here for a couple of days before we went to Nebraska to spend the weekend with them. They had a project that they wanted me to do and I’m always game for a challenge! They are redoing a room in their home and needed some inspiration for colors. My Mom had some ideas so we went searching for that one thing that inspired them. We went to floral shops and roamed around the hobby stores but nothing was really standing out for them. So we decided to stop by a fabric store and there it was, a Peacock Feather! The colors were what she had in mind and I could see exactly how I wanted to photograph it. My Dad and I went browsing in the fabric and found the perfect piece of fabric that made the feathers stand out. I finally got around to photographing it today and my vision came to life!
Part of my vision was the texture that I added. I love how it feels more 3D. All of my processing was done in Lightroom with my very own Preset that I use on all of my images, it only needed a bit of tweaking.
