Big Day #2

Last week was very busy around here!  Not only did I decide to create a brand new website (thank you to everyone that has given me feedback) and prep for the wedding I did on Saturday, but we also had many activities for my daughter.  She started Sunday School the weekend before and we had a Parents meeting and Open House for Preschool.  My first Parents meeting…..oh boy!  The Open House was…well…interesting to say the least.  It was an Open House for all 4 classes that they have from 3 yrs to 5/6 yrs.  Kids everywhere and it seemed like pure chaos to me.  My dearest girl was a bit overwhelmed herself and I think I saw her head spin a full 360 degrees a couple of times.  Ha!  She even got kicked by a little girl that didn’t want to share on the playground.  Talk about a great first impression!

This week Preschool starts and they do half the class on 2 days so her first day will be Thursday.  Good thing because we just came out of a very busy weekend!  I’m glad we’re not rushing around this morning to go to Preschool.  Thursday will be hard for me as well, her and I are always together and so now it’s time for me to start letting go.  It’s been very emotional and my eyes are swelling up as I type but I know that it is time for her to start doing some new things.  She’s such a great girl with a tender heart and growing up so fast.
