Is it really so?

This morning I had a nice long list of things to do.  My daughter was still sleeping, Mommy let her sleep in because she’s coming down with a cold, and my husband had already left for work.  I decided to take the moment to do a few things and managed to get 2 orders placed!  Then got my girl up and off to preschool with a stuffy nose but ready to go.  I managed to get so much done in those 2 hours!  So much so that when it was nap time I didn’t have a million things to do.  I’m at the point of waiting for orders to come in and I can’t wait to see them!!!  I’m waiting for the delivery man right now!

I just couldn’t believe how my To Do list book didn’t look like a complete disasster and I was…..do I say it…..caught up!!!  I’m sure this won’t last and that is quite fine with me.  But for today I needed a day to relax a bit since sleep has not been frequent enough for me lately.  If you have a 3 yo that doesn’t like to sleep then you understand!

I have a portrait this weekend that I can not wait for.  The little boy in this family has the most beautiful eyes and I am hoping I can capture how unique they are!

I also need to clarify something about my 2009 Calendar.  I have had a few requests to make a customized calendar with their protrait session images.  These calendars are not customizable.  Sorry!  The last 3 years I have released a different calendar each year containing a collection of images from my Fine Art work.  Next years images came from my ‘baby project’ that I worked on during 2007.  I do thank you for your requests but at this time customized calendars will not be offered.

Christmas Card…Gorgeous!

This week I opened a box from my printer to find my clients Christmas Cards inside. I’m not joking when I tell you that I gasped! They are gorgeous! I can not wait to get my own personal cards…as soon as I order them! I wanted to give you a peak at them as well because you will not be disappointed. * 2009 Calendar Preview *

My 2009 Calendar has been released!  I love this collection of images, these images were all taken in 2007 when many of my family and friends were bringing new lives into the world.  I was inspired to document a moment that goes by so quickly, the newborn.  There are 5 different babies and one beautiful pregnant belly!  Thank you to all of the families that let me come into their homes to photograph their newest editions!

Keith . Deidre . Abby : Family

Deidre and I have been talking via email for a long time about doing a family portrait.  And then when it finally came around it was forecasted to be cold.  We almost changed dates but after waiting a bit to see what the weather was going to be they decided to keep it and I’m so glad they did!  We had a cool but beautiful morning on Sunday!  No wind and the sun was warm enough to keep even their little 2 yo Abby warm.  She is absolutely adorable!  Abby was a bit unsure of me so I gave her some space and talked to her to get her used to me.  She didn’t want to look at the camera to much but I managed to grab some great shots!

Thank you guys for asking me to document your family!  I can not wait to see your little cutie again!  I have SO many favorite images so it’s a long one!  Enjoy!

If you follow my work then you know my love for images of children looking down. I take this type of shots all the time.  It always makes me wonder what they are thinking.
